Giornata Wine Tasting
We are thrilled to be returning to Giornata Winery. Owners/winemakers Brian and Stephy Terrizzi invited us to return yet again to visit to their charming tasting room and outside area in Paso’s own Tin City, located at 470 Marquita Avenue, Paso Robles. Giornata Winery produces Italian-varietal wines from vineyards that the Terrizzis farm around Paso using traditional, old-world winemaking techniques. The resulting wines are at the highest quality tier of Italian-style wines in California and given their continued recognition, including the December 2020 Wine Spectator’s article and again in 2022, highlighting their approach, they continue to impress. Many of you will also remember some of the impeccable sampings of their Etto pasta at our tastings in years’ past.
You may have also seen Travel + Leisure’s highlight of Stephy in their late 2022 article with their carefully curated list of some of the top female winemakers “pushing traditional boundaries and raising the standards of what we drink, how it’s made — and who is calling the shots.”
Our tasting time today is 4:00 pm. Allow about 10 minutes to drive over and given the incredibly large number of us attending please do plan to carpool over there so as not to overwhelm their parking lot. Giornata is located at 470 Marquita Avenue, Paso Robles.
